Mumbai Indians start as hot favourite against Bangalore Royal Challengers in the IPL T20 match at Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai. Harbhajan Singh led Mumbai IPL will take on weak Bangalore side which was hammered by Kolkata Knight Riders in the last match. Big hitters in the Mumbai IPL team will try to emulate McCullum against Bangalore. Robin Uthappa, Luke Ronchi, Dwayne Bravo and Loots Bosman are dangerous customers along with Sanath Jayasuriya and Pollock. Absence of Sachin Tendulkar will not have much impact on Mumbai Indians.
Bangalore T20 team batting is partially strengthened by the availability of Chanderpaul. But accumulators like Dravid, Kallis, Jaffer and Chanderpaul are no match for Mumbai Indians. Vijay Mallya should immediately buy ideal Twenty20 batsmen and all-rounders to strengthen Bangalore squad.

Mumbai IPL franchise which was subdued in the first round of the IPL auction gradually built an ideal T20 team. It has an ideal combination of big hitters and useful all-rounders. Shaun Pollock and Dwayne Bravo are ideal big hitting all-rounders in the late order batting. Loots Bosman has wonderful T20 record of hitting one four for every 3 balls.
